PRESIDING BISHOP ENDORSES PUNCTUALITY CAMPAIGN

We cannot continue to mark time whiles the rest of the world moves on with their work. These were the mission and opening statement of the Punctuality Public Education Campaign Team as they addressed the head of The Methodist Church Ghana. The team paid a courtesy call on the Presiding Bishop to solicit for his endorsement on the punctuality campaign.
The Presiding Bishop of The Methodist Church Ghana, Most Rev. Dr, Paul Kwabena Boafo joined the list of leaders in Ghana to register his endorsement and total pledge to the “PUNCTUALITY CAMPAIGN” under the initiative of The Punctuality Public Education Campaign Limited. The presiding Bishop warmly received the Campaign Team and addressed them at the Conference Office of The Methodist Church Ghana. The list of key public and religious leaders who have endorsed the punctuality campaign keeps on increasing, indicating the need and importance of the initiative.
The team, Punctuality Crusaders affectionately called emphatically stated that; the consequences of poor attitude to work is becoming taxing, frustrating and expensive each day. They added that, as Christian with large numbers, our attitude towards time management should influence society positively through punctuality. Major stakeholders such as The Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, The Speaker of Parliament, Ministers of State, Mayor of Accra, CEOs and Directors etc have all endorsed their support.
In his key statement, The Presiding Bishop stated clearly that “God worked with time”. He charged all Methodists Institutions, Ministers, Members, Laity, groups and organizations to support The Punctuality Campaign with alacrity.  He emphasized that time is precious and must be cherished. “There is nothing like African Time and other times”. Time is one and universal and it must be respected.  The Staff at The Head Quarters were represented in their numbers to support this wonderful Campaign.
